For all have sinned and fallen short Romans 3:23
What are sins?
The Bible talks about sins as breaking God’s law
Have I broken God’s law?
Yes! Every time I’ve told a lie, which makes me a lair, every time I have been angry which Jesus says is the beginning of murder, every time I have taken the Lords name in vain, every time I have stole anything. I have sinned and broken God’s law. Exodus chapter 20
Why is that a big deal?
Just as in the world if you break a law there is a punishment. God punishes all sins the same. By death Romans 6:23
How can I be saved or forgiven of my sins?
The only way to be saved is through the work Jesus did on the cross. He died so you could be forgiven. Romans 5:10
That sounds too good to be true. What’s the catch?
Salvation is a gift of God so that no man can boast in his good deeds. We must believe Jesus is God, the Messiah and in faith surrender our lives to him. Asking for forgiveness. Ephesians 2:9
How do I know this is true?
The Bible says that if we confess he is faithful to forgive us . 1John 1:9
